Ministry Fair

What are your gifts? What talents and passions are waiting to be put to use? What strengths do you carry with you each day, sometimes quietly, sometimes boldly?

Have you ever considered how those gifts might be used in ministry? Lay ministry: ministry carried out by those who are not ordained, is simply people saying yes to God’s call to serve. It’s about helping bring Christ’s love into the world, in both ordinary and extraordinary ways.

Your gifts don’t stay in one place. You bring them to work, to school, to family life, to community events, and even into your online presence. Everywhere you go, there are opportunities to serve, to listen, to help, and to lead.

Our world is filled with moments that call for compassion, courage, and hope. How might God be inviting you to respond? How can your gifts help meet the needs around you?

And just as importantly, where do you find renewal? Our parish is meant to be a place where we gather to pray, to worship, and to be strengthened, so that we can be sent back out, renewed, and ready to serve again. Ministry is not meant to be done alone; we support and encourage one another along the way.

On January 10th and 11th after each Mass, we invite you to join us for our Ministry Fair. This is an opportunity to learn about the many ways members of our parish live out their call to be the hands and feet of Christ—in our church, our community, and beyond. It’s also a chance for you to discover where your own gifts might fit.

Not sure what your gifts are yet? That’s okay. Not sure you’re ready to get involved? That’s okay too. Often, it’s through serving that we come to better understand our gifts and find unexpected joy along the way.

We hope you’ll join us for the Ministry Fair on January 10th and 11th. Together, we can grow in faith, strengthen our parish community, and work to bring Christ’s love into the world—one gift, one ministry, one “yes” at a time.
